Merchant mariner Edward Smith lived in Salem, MA until 1790 when he moved to York, ME, where he lived until his death in 1805. Smith had at least two sons, Edward Jr. and Israel O., who was very active in the York, ME community. Their relationship to John Smith and Jabez Smith is unknown.
